Training for Leadership program

Following the success of our Rubicon sabbatical program, it was suggested to us that we consider translating some of the wisdoms of Rubicon into a tandem course for bishops, leaders or leadership teams, particularly focused on formation and support in leadership. With this in mind, we have designed a unique and creative program that will be offered in two fortnight sections, given that leaders may have difficulty in committing to a single four week period. The first fortnight will focus on the personal understandings and growth needed for leadership, while the second fortnight will focus on interpersonal challenges related to working with and managing others as well as some of the unique issues facing religious leaders in this day and age. The course will include personal mentoring as well as group work, creative processes and seminars.

The Training for Leadership program aims to help participants to recognise and embrace the challenges of leadership, develop their own leadership talents and assist leaders to move forward with faith and trust.
